Did somebody say camping?
Yes!! You heard that right.
It’s time to blow the dust off your backpacks and get your hiking shoes on.
As adults, we barely get time to unwind and relax.
We find ourselves stuck at our desks till Saturdays.
To blow off the excess steam and get the required serotonin and adrenaline rush, camping is the best getaway.
Keeping that in mind, we bring to you a collection of “censored” camping games that will blow your minds out!
1. Glow Stick Capture the Flag
A thrilling nighttime twist on the classic game using glow sticks as flags. Perfect for teams and friendly competition under the stars.
Requirements:
-
Two glow sticks (different colors)
-
Open space
-
Team markers (optional)
How to Play:
Split players into two teams and define boundaries and a central neutral zone. Each team hides their glow stick “flag” in their territory. The goal is to sneak into the opponent’s zone, capture their glow stick, and return to your base without being tagged.
If tagged, you go to a designated “jail” and can be freed by a teammate. First team to capture the enemy flag and bring it back wins.
2. Campfire Charades
Classic charades get a cozy campfire upgrade with dramatic shadows and laughter echoing through the woods.
Requirements:
-
Slips of paper and a bowl
-
Pen or marker
-
Campfire or lantern for ambiance
How to Play:
Each player writes down fun actions, movies, or camp-themed prompts and places them in a bowl. Players take turns drawing a slip and acting it out silently for their team to guess within a minute. Use flashlights or firelight to add dramatic flair.

Two or more tents
-
Stopwatch or phone timer
-
Even playing field
How to Play:

The team with the fastest time or best setup wins.

Scavenger hunt list
-
Bags for collecting items
-
Pen or phone to track findings
How to Play:
Before the game, prepare a list of quirky or challenging items to find—like a leaf bigger than your hand, something with a spiral pattern, or a rock shaped like an animal.
Players or teams explore the area to collect or photograph items. Set a time limit and gather back to share findings and tally scores.

This high-energy game combines hide-and-seek with tag—at night! It’s the ultimate adrenaline rush for campers.
Requirements:
-
Flashlight
-
Open, safe area with hiding spots
-
At least 4 players
How to Play:
One player is “It” and uses a flashlight instead of tagging by touch. All others hide while “It” counts to 50. Then “It” searches the area, shining the light to “tag” someone. If a hider is spotted in the flashlight beam, they’re out. Last one hiding becomes the next “It.”

A token or stick to pass
-
Imagination
-

How to Play:

Beverages of choice
How to Play:
Arrange cups in triangle shapes at both ends of the table. Each team takes turns tossing the ping pong ball, trying to land it in the opponent’s cups.
